Amethyst is the stone of peace, it brings a sense of tranquility and calmness when you are feeling stressed.
Amethyst is also known as the stone of soberity, I'm fact in anicent Greece they would make goblets out of amethyst because they thought it would counteract the effects of wine!
Personally amethyst is my very favourite crystal, it's such a classic and that is for a reason. It's soothing, peaceful, protective and of course is also beautiful.
